1rst Trailer For Director Nolan New Movie Released

Director Nolan has now released the first trailer for his new film “Oppenheimer”.

The video alternates images of giant fireballs with scenes featuring main character J. Robert Oppenheimer (played by Cillian Murphy). Among other things, calculations for the construction of an atomic bomb and the development of a test bomb are indicated.

“We imagine a future, and our ideas shock us,” says the nuclear physicist. The last trailer shot shows a trembling hand over a red button. The biopic about the “father of the atomic bomb” takes place during the Second World War, when Oppenheimer (1904-1967) was instrumental in the development of the atomic bomb.

Leader of the Manhattan Project

The American of German-Jewish descent led the top-secret Manhattan Project in Los Alamos. After the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, Oppen-heimer was shocked by the destructive power of the bomb, campaigned against the use of nuclear weapons and became the victim of an anti-communist hunt in the USA.
