In the USA, the start of the new, faster 5G network for mobile Internet has been postponed again.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and FAA President Steve Dickson yesterday called for a two-week postponement from AT&T and Verizon. The background to this is concerns of the aviation industry that the new standard could interfere with radio altimeters for aircraft.
The launch of 5G was originally scheduled for December 5th, but has been postponed to January 5th due to concerns expressed by aircraft manufacturers Airbus and Boeing. Now it should take another two weeks longer.5G In USA Has Been Postponed Again.

5G is the fifth generation technology standard for broadband cellular networks, which cellular phone companies began deploying worldwide in 2019, and is the planned successor to the 4G networks which provide connectivity to most current cellphones. 5G networks are predicted to have more than 1.7 billion subscribers worldwide by 2025, according to the GSM Association.
