Pop diva Beyonce Renaissance goes into the race for the next Grammys 2023 with the most nominations.
The 41-year-old US singer was nominated today in nine categories for the most important US music awards, including best album of the year for “Beyonce Renaissance” and best recording and best song of the year for “Break My Soul”.
US rapper Kendrick Lamar follows with eight nominations. British singer Adele and US singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile each have seven nominations. The 2023 Grammy Awards will be presented on February 5 in Los Angeles.
But Beyonce has already made history: With the nominations, she has a total of 88 Grammy nominations in her career. She drew level with her husband Jay-Z, who has collected the most Grammy nominations to date.
