China’s SAIC has teamed up with General Motors to launch a distinctive pickup truck to compete with the Chevrolet S10 Max.
The new Chinese Maxus T70 vehicles come as modified versions of the S10 Max cars, but they got a more modern design for the front end, more advanced LED lights, and modifications that make its interior more distinctive and modern.
These cars will be offered in three different versions, with cabins designated for two or five passengers, and the interfaces in the cockpits have the latest multimedia systems and advanced touch screens to control the characteristics of the vehicle.
SAIC has provided these cars with satellite positioning systems, seat and steering heating systems, different driving systems suitable for movement on different types of roads, a system to maintain stability on slopes and turns, BS brake systems, cameras, front and rear distance sensors, light and rain sensors.
It will be launched in the global markets with two types of engines, 2.4-liter gasoline engines with 160 horsepower, and 2.0-liter turbocharged engines with 213 horsepower, and these engines will work with five-speed mechanical gearboxes and eight-speed automatic boxes, and two rear and four-wheel drive systems.
