EU Commission Announces Multi-Billion Dollar Climate Projects
The EU-Commission has proposed investments worth billions for ten new climate projects.
The Brussels authority announced today that it will provide approximately ten billion euros for this purpose, which project partners will top up by at least the same amount.
Specifically, it is about projects that are intended to advance Europe’s railways, clean hydrogen and digital infrastructure. This is implemented through “European partnerships” in which the EU Commission works with private and public partners.
Other EU institutions such as the European Parliament and the heads of state and government of the EU countries can also influence the project.
