Gazprom

The Russian “Gazprom” has indicated that it has been operating since December 22 in a peak mode, due to the cold weather, especially with regard to the supply of natural gas to consumers in Russia.

This came according to what the Russian company published on its channel in “Telegram”, and said that daily withdrawals from Russian underground storage facilities reached their maximum levels over the past five years.

The company added that it has increased the amount of gas withdrawn daily from storage facilities to ensure reliable gas supply to consumers. She noted that gas supplies to Russian consumers amounted to 1.656 billion cubic meters per day.

Gazprom also indicated that on December 23 a historic record was set for daily gas supplies from Russia to China.

The company also confirmed that it supplies European consumers with natural gas entirely based on orders and in accordance with contractual obligations.
