HEB cancels Tsunami Watch After A 8.1 Earthquake Hit Alaska
“Warnings were issued of a strong potential tsunami that will strike the state of Alaska, after an earthquake of magnitude 8” is canceled.
Alaska-USA– 8.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Alaska Triggering Tsunami warnings. It is the strongest since 1965 in NorthAmerica & since 2018 Worldwide also.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) announced the State of Hawaii is under a Tsunami Watch after an 8.2 magnitude earthquake struck off Alaska on Wednesday, July 28.
PTWC officials said the earthquake occurred around 8:16 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time off the coast of the Alaska Peninsula.
