Pop star Lady Gaga (35) celebrated the tenth anniversary of her hit album “Born This Way” in West Hollywood, California.
Hpllywood – The singer posted photos of the ceremony in the liberal city with a large proportion of homosexuals on her social media channels yesterday.
In rainbow colors, “Born This Way” was painted in capital letters on a street. Mayor Lindsey P. Horvath presented the star with a symbolic key to the city on Sunday.
As an artist and activist, she has become the cultural icon of this generation, said Horvath. The black, gay preacher and activist Carl Bean inspired her 2011 album, the Grammy winner said on Twitter. In 1975, eleven years before she was born, he sang about “Born This Way” and bravely stood up for tolerance and freedom.
