A lion attacks zookeeper and ends a joke made by a Jamaican zoo ranger by putting his hand in the mouth of a lion that bit his finger in front of visitors.
Jamaica – The shocking video clip spread on social media, and the guard appears to be trying to brag to the visitors of his ability to put his hand in the lion’s mouth, but he did not expect that behind the lion’s snarling real annoyance with this movement, which prompted him to bite the guard’s finger.
An eyewitness told the Jamaica Observer: “When it happened, I thought it was a joke, I didn’t realize the seriousness of it because their job was to make a show, but when he fell to the ground, everyone realized it was dangerous, everyone started to panic.”
She also explained that despite the guard’s injuries, he managed to get away and board a truck before he drove off, apparently to the nearest hospital.
The visitor indicated that the skin had completely disappeared, as well as the first joint of his finger.
