The Massive Nashville Explosion Shakes The Midtown
There was a violent explosion in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, this morning (local time).
USA-(Thinis News) – Pictures from local TV station WKRN showed fire engines and several fires on the street.
One emergency worker told the broadcaster that a caravan had exploded and several buildings were damaged. It is not yet known whether people were injured or killed. The reason for the explosion also remained unclear for the time being. Photos and videos posted on social networks showed black smoke over downtown Nashville.

The explosion happened in the area of Second Avenue and Broadway near Commerce Street occurred around 6:30 am Friday. Heavy black smoke can be seen rising above the affected area.
The Metro Nashville Office of Emergency Management told News 2 a parked RV exploded and caused damage to several buildings. They said crews are currently assessing the damage but no injuries have been reported. Officials with the OEM also reported foul play was not suspected at this time.
Is the Nashville explosion intentional ?
The Metro Nashville Police Department says authorities believe an explosion that rocked the downtown area early on Christmas Day was a deliberate act. Police spokesman Don Aaron said about three hours after the explosion shook the area that investigators believe it was “an intentional act.” Police earlier said they believe a vehicle was involved in the explosion.
