Volkswagen decided to attract a larger group of young people and lovers of modern vehicles, and revealed a new car “ID.5” with distinctive specifications.
The new ID.5 comes as a modified model from the ID.4 cars that Volkswagen announced last year, but it came with a streamlined crossover coupe body that is somewhat similar in design to the design of the famous X6 cars from BMW.
The chassis of this car is 4 meters long and 60 centimeters long, with a height of 161 centimeters, and its cabin is equipped with two rows of seats that can accommodate five passengers. As for the driving interface, it has the latest multimedia systems that interact with voice commands and can pair wirelessly with devices and smartphones.
The ID.5 models are equipped with front and rear lights that operate with the latest LED technologies, and have lane-keeping systems, anti-skid systems, and advanced safety systems to avoid accidents, as well as light and rain sensors, distance sensors and front and rear cameras.
The simplest model of these cars has an electric motor that generates 174 horsepower, while the Pro Performance model comes with an electric motor with 204 horsepower, while the most powerful model, ID.5 GTX, has a four-wheel drive system and two electric motors with 299 horsepower, ensuring acceleration from 0 to 100 km / hour in 6.3 seconds, and the battery is enough to cover a distance of 480 km on a single charge.
