In Gaziantep yesterday, friends of 17-year-old Duygu Delen, who allegedly died after falling from the 4th floor of the house of Mehmet Kaplan, son of the owner of the Atlantic Carpet, Bileç Kaplan, called for “justice”, claiming that the incident was murder.

Duyu’s close friend stated that Duygu went home because she was threatened and said:
“Mehmet Kaplan Duygu’s ex-boyfriend. He was separated because of psychological and physical violence. He sent a threatening message to Duygu before the incident. This is why Duygu went to that house. Mehmet Kaplan is already addicted to drugs and previously caused the death of a pregnant woman. While driving with alcohol, he hit a woman and escaped without penalty. His parents are tall people. Their uneasy attitude is evident in the videos shared. There was a prolonged scuffle and scuffle at home. Traces of fractures and blows were found on his body. Emotion was definitely not someone that could take his life. He was brought back to life with instant interventions at the scene, but lost his life before reaching the hospital. Mehmet Kaplan was detained
Duygu Deren’s body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy. Mehmet Kaplan was taken into custody.

On 17.01.2019, it was revealed that Kaplan killed 35-year-old Zeynep Berna Atay, a mother of 1 child, at the pedestrian crossing of the Masal park tram stop while driving with alcohol and without a license.
